UNDERGROUND SPIRITS FESTIVAL 2026

For the first time in Slovenia, a unique world of premium spirits is opening up in the mysterious underground setting of one of the largest and oldest traditional wine cellars in Europe.

On Saturday, 10 October 2026, the historic Vinag Wine Cellar will become the venue for the Underground Spirits Festival, a premium event bringing together lovers of high-quality spirits, industry professionals, bartenders, gastronomy enthusiasts, and everyone who appreciates exceptional experiences.

Throughout several kilometres of ancient wine tunnels, more than 30 Slovenian and international exhibitors will present their products, including producers, importers, and distributors of a wide variety of spirits.

Visitors will be able to explore the world of gin, whisky, rum, cognac, vodka, tequila, mezcal, traditional Balkan rakija, liqueurs, amaro, and many other premium spirits.

A bartender competition will also take place in the festival’s main area, where leading representatives of the bar scene will compete by creating original signature cocktails in front of a professional judging panel. The competition will run from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Additionally: HOT × COLD Experience – ice art and a spectacular fire show combined in one unforgettable evening.

Visitors can also look forward to a gastronomic offering, a music programme, an all-day soundtrack by DJ FABIO, and an evening After Party, which will bring the unforgettable festival experience to a close with a very special dance surprise.

The ticket includes UNLIMITED tastings of standard spirits from all exhibitors.
